Quotes
A quote (or estimate) is a proposal you send before doing the work. When the client accepts, you turn it into an invoice in one step. Quotes work almost exactly like invoices — same builder, same document.

Create a quote
Start a new quote
Choose New quote.
Build it like an invoice
Pick the client, currency, and line items exactly as you would for an invoice.
Set the valid-until date
Instead of a due date, a quote has a valid-until date (defaults to 30 days out) — after which it’s considered expired.
Save or send
Save draft or Preview & Send.
The quote lifecycle
A quote moves through Draft → Sent → and then Accepted, Declined, or Expired.
On the quote detail page you can:
- Accept — mark a sent (or expired) quote as accepted, on the client’s behalf.
- Convert to invoice — once accepted, turn it into a draft invoice with the same line items.
- Decline — record that the client passed.
- Plus Edit, Duplicate, Copy share link, Mark as sent, and Delete (drafts only) — same as invoices.
Clients can also accept or decline online — through the in-app exchange (if they use weBiller) or the client portal link. Their response notifies you and updates the quote.
Converting to an invoice
Open an accepted quote
The Convert to invoice action appears once a quote is accepted (and not already converted).
Review the draft invoice
weBiller creates a new draft invoice carrying over the line items. Adjust anything, then send it like any other invoice.
Once converted, the quote links to the invoice it created, so you can always trace the connection.
